State-wise migration quotas announced for 2021/2022
1 August 2021Australia’s General Skilled Migration Program (GSM) is aimed at attracting skilled migrants to work in critical occupations and meet the changing needs of businesses in the country’s various states and territories.
Every year, states and territories receive allocations from the government, based on which these jurisdictions nominate skilled and business migrants for the Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491.
